Kansas Legislature Rushes Bill to Create Green Initiative Slush Fund

The Kansas House Committee on Agriculture and Natural Resources introduced legislation on Thursday that would establish a new state fund intended to promote conservation called the “Working Lands Conservation Fund”. The bill number is HB2541 and is being fast-tracked for adoption by the committee, with a hearing already scheduled for Monday in Topeka.
