Property Tax Freedom Rally Planned in Topeka

With a Kansas Senate hearing on SB488 scheduled at 9:20am, on March10th, a rally will follow at the Capitol building

The Senate Committee on Taxation will hold a hearing on SB 488 next Tuesday! Plan to be there if you can for the hearing and rally to follow! The hearing will be at the capitol building in room 548-S at 9:30 am.

Written testimony is requested from all, even if you cannot attend next Tuesday!

Here is what you need to do:

1. Start a document

2. Include your name and city (or county) of residence

3. Keep it short and concise

4. Briefly explain why you support SB488

5. Save your testimony in a PDF format

6. Create an email

7. To: Assessment.Taxation@senate.ks.gov

8. Use a subject of “Proponent Written Testimony for SB488”

9. Attach the PDF testimony file you saved

10. Due by 9:30 am the day before the hearing (Monday, March 9th)
